Student Support

 ICECS 2008  will provide a limited number of grants towards partial travel support for student authors to attend the Conference. These grants have been made available through the Circuits and Systems Society  Region 8. 

To receive this support, the applicant must be: 

1. an author of an accepted paper / poster and the presenter of the paper / poster;
2. a full-time student registered toward a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in engineering or related field in a college or university when submitting the application;
3. a student coming from an institution located in countries in North Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe.

The quality of the paper will be taken into consideration in the student selection process. The award decisions taken by the ICECS 2008 Organizing Committee are final. The grants awarded will be made available at the Conference itself.

Please note that the partial financial support, if granted, may not be used for conference registration fees. It may be used only for travel expenses to attend ICECS 2008, Malta.
