IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits, and Systems

ICECS 2008

The 15th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits, and Systems, ICECS 2008, will be held in Malta on the 31st August to 3rd September.

ICECS is a major international forum presenting design methodologies, techniques and experimental results in emerging electronics, circuits and systems topics. ICECS has developed into the flagship conference of the IEEE CAS Society in Region 8, with participants from all over the world.

The conference will include regular, special and poster sessions, on topics covering analogue circuits and signal processing, general circuits and systems, digital signal processing, VLSI, multimedia and communication, computational methods and optimization, neural systems, control systems, MEMS, advanced technologies, industrial and biomedical applications, power systems and power electronic circuits, photonic and optoelectronic circuits and electronic education.

ICECS is recognized as an ideal forum for discussion and interchange of ideas on the latest research on electronics, circuits and systems. Quality of the program is a prime goal of the conference organizers. Furthermore informal discussions between and after technical sessions are a valuable tradition of ICECS. To encourage discussion among the Conference participants, each technical session will consist of oral presentations and poster sessions.  Proceedings of the conference will be published and provided on a CD-ROM.

The conference will be held in Malta, right at the center of the Mediterranean. Malta is well known for its hospitality to visitors. The blue sea, warm sunshine, and rich archeological and cultural heritage extending over seven millenia from Neolithic temples to Roman times to the Knight of Malta, provide an interesting backdrop to the conference.
