Student registrants must provide proof of student status by emailing to
info@icecs2008.org an electronic copy of
his/her university identification (ID) card or a letter from the university signed by an official representative verifying student status. Students should be prepared to show their student identification card at the conference registration desk.
All registrations include one copy of conference proceedings on CDROM, welcome reception and coffee breaks.
All registrations, except student, IEEE Life member and one-day, include
a ticket for conference
banquet. All registrations except one-day include tickets for lunches. No lunch is included during the
tutorial day.
One-day registration is not valid for Author/Presenter/Tutorial Attendee.
Early registrations are only accepted if they
are accompanied by full
payment before the early registration deadline.

Each registrant may select a full day tutorial or one morning tutorial and/or one afternoon tutorial from the following list. No hopping between tutorials is allowed.

REGISTRATION
PROCEDURE
All payments must be made in Euro.
Payments can be done via credit card (recommended), Bank Draft or
Bank Transfer. Please follow the respective procedure below.
On-line Registration (Credit Card)
On-line registration and payment is highly recommended. Your registration payment will be processed through a secure web-based credit card payment system (SSL encrypted data transfer).

Confirmation of online payment will be sent via e-mail, after proof of payment has been received. Please remember to print and bring this confirmation letter with you to the registration desk.
Registration by Bank Draft (mailed Bank Draft should be received by the corresponding deadline)
Registration can also be made by filling the offline
registration form and sending payment bank draft by mail. After completing the form, mail
bank draft with registration number to:

For quick and accurate processing of your registration, it is requested that you
email a
scanned copy of your bank transfer receipt to info@icecs2008.org. Please remember to also bring this copy to the registration desk. After proof of payment has been confirmed by our bank, you will receive the official confirmation of registration via e-mail from the
ICECS 2008 Committee. Please note that any additional transfer or service charges imposed by the bank must be paid by the participant.
DO NOT allow your bank to deduct it from the registration fee.
Notes:
Your confirmation email will serve as your receipt.
Each attendee must register separately.
Pre-registration payments must be received by June 30, 2008, for the early registration fees to apply; if payment is not RECEIVED by this deadline, you will be responsible for higher rates.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must made by sending an e-mail to info@icecs2008.org. The amount of refund will depend on the date of cancellation, as follows:

Letters of Invitation
Delegates requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the Conference may write to the Conference Secretariat specifying the necessary details. Please note that this procedure aims to assist delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Conference. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support from the Conference. Payment for registration fees must have been finalized before even requesting an invitation letter. Please make sure that in your request to
info@icecs2008.org for invitation letter you include:
Name, postal address, and a valid e-mail address.
IEEE Member number, if you are a member of IEEE.
Name of session and paper number, if you are presenting a paper.
The words “invitation letter request” in the subject field of your e-mail request.
The invitation letters will be emailed in a printable format and will state only the facts:
Conference title, dates, and location
That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full
If the requester is a committee member, speaker, or presenter

Personal Insurance
The organizers cannot be held responsible for accidents to conference participants or accompanying persons, for damage or loss of their personal property, or for cancellation expenses, regardless of cause. Participants should therefore, make their own insurance arrangements. Please consult with your local insurance sources regarding coverage.
